Mission Statement:

Chinese American Institute for Empowerment (CIE) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to promoting Chinese Americans’ awareness of civic responsibilities, and participation in the civil society and political process, from community service to elected office. CIE programs focus on developing civic leadership, building public policy knowledge, and bringing the strong voice of Chinese Americans as the integral part of the society at local, state, and federal levels.

• Educating Chinese American community about the operations of the American civil society, as well as moral and ethical standard of conduct in the civil society;
• Connecting Chinese American community with their elected officials at all levels, and bringing attention to the issues and concerns on important public policies;
• Promoting electoral and civic participation by Chinese Americans via voter education, GOTO activities and organizing campaign events.
